Grade 4 students at Delhi Private School, Sharjah, Primary Wing attended a Reading event at Sharjah Public Library in honour of the UAE Reading month on 14th March. The event was coordinated by Ms, Fathima, the coordinator of Pick a Book and it was well conducted by Mr. Fulail.

Our students got an opportunity to interact with the students of Cambridge School, Srilanka. It was an interactive conference where the children of both schools introduced themselves and spoke about their favourite book. A question-and-answer session was also conducted where the students of both schools asked a few questions to each other. It was a learning platform as a lot of information about both countries were exchanged during this session. To wrap it up, Hang Man game was played to emphasize the importance of vocabulary and the knowledge of books.

Through this session the students understood that books are our best friends, waiting for us to pick them up and read as well as utilize their free time well.
